Production: Méthode Traditionelle, aged on lees for 18-24 months
Alcohol: 12%
Tasting Notes: fresh and fruity with a lovely mousse.
Food Pairing: ideally consumed as an apéritif or serve with poultry

Grapes: 100% Pinot Bianco
Production: matured on the lees, some partly in acacia barrels.  Annual production of 3,200 bottles.
Alcohol: 12.5%
Tasting Notes: aromas of apple and ripe pears, with flavours of creamy camomile.

Lorenz Martini “Comitissa” Brut Riserva 2012

Region: Alto Adige, Italy
Grapes: 40% Pinot Blanc, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay
Production: Traditional method, aged on lees for 4 years, annual production of 19,000 bottles
Alcohol: 13%
Tasting Notes: aromas of honeycomb and fresh bread, with notes of flint and a hint of banana and citrus fruits.

Region: Alto Adige, Italy
Grapes: 95% Vernatsch (Schiava) & 5% Lagrein
Production: 50% fermented in large French oak barrels, remainder in steel.  Annual production of 11,000 bottles
Alcohol: 13%
Tasting Notes: light-bodied and fruity, yet complex, with flavours of cherry.  Served slightly chilled.

Region: Alto Adige, Italy
Grapes: 100% Lagrein
Production: Aged for 9-10 months in large, old barrels
Alcohol: 13.5%
Tasting Notes: dark forest berries, notes of chocolate and a hint of the Alpine prunella flower and fine herbs.

Contessa de Castiglione Extra Dry Spumante

Region: Asti, Italy
Grapes: 30% Glera, 20% Garganega, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Durello
Production: Charmat (tank) method
Alcohol: 11%
Tasting Notes: aromas of pear, lychee and melon, with flavours of ripe apple and guave, with a citrus finish.  A delicious half-way house between Prosecco and Champagne!

Production: Charmat (tank) method, pulp added after fermentation

Region: Veneto, Italy
Grapes: 60% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 15% Corvinone & 5% Molinara
Production: 8 day fermentation, steel tanks
Alcohol: 12.8%
Tasting Notes: Aromas of fresh red fruit.  Savoury, clean finish.

Monte Cillario Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2014 DOC

Region: Veneto, Italy
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone & Molinara
Production: One month fermentation, then aged in oak barrels for 12 months and steel tanks for a further 12 months.
Alcohol: 14.5%
Tasting Notes: aromas of plum jam and cherry.  Perfectly balanced tannins with flavours of spice and cocoa.

Pietro Zardini Rosignol Vino Rosso 2013

Region: Veneto, Italy
Grapes: 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 5% Molinara & 5% Rosignola
Production: Hand-harvested grapes are dried on racks for 3-4 months, then aged in oak barrels for 2 years, with further time in steel tanks and in bottle before release.
Alcohol: 15%
Tasting Notes: very concentrated nose of ripe fruit, spices, tobacco and cocoa.  Rich flavours of ripe fruit and chocolate.

Crosarola Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2012 DOCG

Region: Veneto, Italy
Grapes: 60% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 15% Corvinone, & 5% Molinara
Production: Hand-harvested grapes are dried on racks for 3 months, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, then 24 months in steel tanks & 6 months in bottle before release
Alcohol: 16%
Tasting Notes: aromatic nose of black cherry and jam, dried prunes, figs, cherry liqueur, chocolates, toasted cocoa and pepper.   The palate is soft and warm with velvety tannins and a fruity finish.
Awards: 91 points Decanter World Wine Awards 2017

Mizzon Recioto della Valpolicella Classico 2012 DOCG

Grapes: 75% Corvina, 15% Rondinella & 10% Corvinone / Oseleta / Negrara / Dindarella
Production: Hand-harvested grapes from 60-year-old vines are dried on racks for 4 months.  6 months ageing in French barrels, then 6 months in steel tanks and 9 months in bottle
Alcohol: 14%
Tasting Notes: aromas of wild violets and roses and a hint of cherry jam.  The palate is soft, warm, elegant and very fruity.

Region: Bairrada, Portugal
Grapes: 75% Baga and 25% Touriga Nacional
Production: Méthode Traditionelle, 15 months ageing on the lees
Alcohol: 12.5%
Tasting Notes: intense aromas of oranges and linden flowers with notes of peach and pineapple

Quinta de Reis Vinho Branco 2016

Region: Dão, Portugal
Grapes: 60% Encruzado, 25% Malvasia-Fina & 15% Bical
Production: Controlled low temperatures, partially using new oak casks followed by “bâtonnage” for a period of 3 months.
Alcohol: 12.5%
Tasting Notes: intense minerality, aromas of pineapple & menthol, notes of dried peaches, pear and lime on the finish

Production: 70% aged in French oak barrels for 9 months with “batonnage” (30% in stainless steel)
Alcohol: 13.4%
Tasting Notes: full-bodied and rich, with flavours of coconut and toasty, creamy oak

Tasting Notes: aromatic and fresh nose.  Lively citrus and pear characters, slight fizz, great acidity and freshness. Very easy drinking, perfect for summer picnics and barbecues.

Tasting Notes: intense aromas of tropical fruits and lemon.  Great minerality and structure with good acidity.

Production: 28 day maceration, 4 months in oak barrels

Tasting Notes: ripe red fruit and notes of cinnamon, very smooth tannins with a long finish, very tasty!

Region: Lisboa, Portugal
Grapes: 100% Touriga Nacional
Production: 28 day maceration, 4-6 months in Portuguese oak barrels
Alcohol: 14%
Tasting Notes: notes of chocolate and berry jam.  Can drink now but will be even better with a bit of ageing
